Вторая международная конференция “Музеи и мемориальные места Холокоста в пост-коммунистических странах: вызовы и возможности”

27-28 мая 2013 г. в Риге в Академии наук Латвии (на 3-ем этаже) пройдёт Вторая международная конференция «Музеи и мемориальные места Холокоста в пост-коммунистических странах: вызовы и возможности». Участники конференции подчеркнут важность сохранения памяти о Холокосте в небольших странах с противоречивой исторической памятью, а также выявят скрытые ресурсы, обсудят особенности преподавания истории Холокоста и толерантности, а также сложные вопросы этой темы. В рамках конференции пройдёт практический семинар по неформальному еврейскому образованию.

Почетный гость — бывший рижанин раввин д-р Иосиф Менделевич, известный отказник, участвовал в попытке угона самолета «Операция Свадьба», она же «Ленинградское самолетное дело».

В этом году более 10 послов будут участвовать в сессии, посвященной увековечиванию памяти и проблематики истории Холокоста в странах, которые они представляют. В рамках отдельной сессии, посвещённой теме образования и преподавания истории Холокоста, будет рассмотрен опыт разных стран, которые представлют участники конференции. В рамках отдельной сессии будут просморены новейшие проекты фильмов местных и зарубежных авторов. У участников конференции также будет возможность посетить музей Рижского гетто и Холокоста Латвии, выставочные экспозиции которого активно в данное время разрабатываются. В этом году в течении двух дней конференции прозвучат более 40 докладов. См. программу конференции ниже.
