We ask for your support of the Riga ghetto and Latvian Holocaust museum

Dear friends, dear followers!

We ask for your support of the Riga ghetto and Latvian Holocaust museum, which started its activities in 2010. Now the Riga City Council Property Department has posted a vote on their website concerning the extension of the land lease for another 10 years.

For these 10 years the Shamir Association – an organization that created the museum – has done much. The museum has started to operate in a derelict Spikeri district as the beginning of the revitalization project of this territory. For the last 10 years, a non-governmental organization was able to create an acting museum, which has been visited by more than 165 thousand people from all over the world.

The museum works outside the dark tourism trails, without focusing on the theme of tools and motives of genocide.

The Riga Ghetto and Latvian Holocaust museum is primarily a tribute to the memory of all innocent victims, an opportunity to remember their names and faces. The museum needs to grow and develop, and in order to do this, we need your help.

Now we ask for the support of all our subscribers, all those who are not indifferent, everyone who has supported us, who has ever visited our museum.

Please, vote!
