On Friday, November 30, 2018, on the anniversary of the first act of mass killing against the inhabitants of the Riga Ghetto, the Riga Ghetto and Holocaust Museum will hold its traditional memorial event, “Every child has a name,” from 11:00 to 14:00, in memory of the Jewish children from Latvia and Western Europe killed during the Holocaust in Latvia. This year the memorial will be taking place for the ninth time.
All those willing may read out names from a list of 16,000 Jewish children killed in Latvia during the Holocaust.
Every child deserves attention! Every child deserves not to be forgotten!
This project is made possible with the support of the Riga Council Department of Education, Culture, and Sport
