Otrā starptautiskā konference „Holokausta muzeji un piemiņas vietas postkomunistiskās valstīs: izaicinājumi un iespējas”

Š. g. 27.-28. maijā Rīgā, Latvijas Zinātņu akadēmijā (3.stāvā) notiks Otrā starptautiskā konference “Holokausta muzeji un piemiņas vietas postkomunistiskās valstīs: izaicinājumi un iespējas”. Konferences mērķis ir uzsvērt Holokausta piemiņas svarīgumu Eiropas valstīs un sekmēt Holokausta pasniegšanu. Konferences laikā tiks pievērsta uzmanība arī Holokausta atceres apslēptajiem resursiem un to izpētei Eiropas valstīs, kā arī Holokausta izglītības īpatnībām un iepriekš nezināmajām vēstures lappusēm par pretošanās kustību un varonību geto un koncentrācijas nometnēs. Programmā iekļauta arī neformālās ebreju izglītības sesija.

 

Konferences goda viesis – bijušais rīdzinieks rabīns Dr. Josefs Mendelevičs (Jeruzaleme, Izraēla) – pazīstams „otkazniks”, kurš piedalījās mēģinājumā ar lidmašīnu izceļot no PSRS (tā dēvētajā „Operācijā Kāzas”, kuras dalībnieki tika tiesāti tā dēvētajā „Ļeņingradas lidmašīnas prāvā”).

 

Šogad vairāk nekā 10 vēstnieku piedalīsies sesijā, kura būs veltīta Holokausta memorializācijas jautājumiem un problēmām viņu pārstāvētajās valstīs. Atsevišķā izglītības sesijā tiks aplūkota Holokausta vēsture un tā pasniegšanas specifika, balstoties uz konferences dalībnieku pārstāvēto valstu pieredzi. Savukārt atsevišķā filmu sesijā apskatīsim jaunākos pašmāju un kaimiņu filmu projektus. Konferences dalībniekiem būs arī iespēja doties ekskursijā uz Rīgas geto un Latvijas Holokausta muzeju, kurā pašlaik norisinās aktīva ekspozīcijas attīstība. Šogad divās konferences dienās izskanēs vairāk nekā 40 ziņojumu. Skat. konferences programmu zemāk.
